When you are moving.
When you are moving, contact your electricity supplier and sign an electricity contract with them well in advance of your move.
You do not need to contact us, as we receive information about the start and end of your electricity contract directly from the sales company. We will, of course, send you a confirmation of the contract via the online service.
Have you bought a property in the Kajave network area?
The electricity connection is not automatically transferred to the new owner of the property when the property is sold. You can use this form to change the owner of the connection:
The electricity connection is not automatically transferred to the new owner of the property, for example in a property sale or inheritance. It is therefore always worth mentioning the transfer of the connection contract in the transfer document, for example in the deed of sale or the deed of inheritance.
The new owner of the property should contact our customer service as soon as possible after the change of ownership. We will need a change of ownership document to agree on the transfer of the connection. If the transfer of the electricity connection has not been agreed in the above document, the connection must be transferred to the new owner with a separate agreement signed by all parties. As a rule, we use electronic signatures for the conclusion of contracts. We do not charge a fee for the transfer of the contract.
The transfer of the electricity connection applies to changes of ownership of all properties, including detached houses and holiday homes. Apartment blocks and terraced houses do not have their own electricity connections, but the connection is shared by the property and owned by the housing association. Electricity connections are subject to the transfer tax on real estate transactions.
