Kajaani’s district heating network is evenly distributed throughout the urban area, with the exception of the oldest residential areas. Both households and businesses can subscribe to district heating.
It is advisable to sign a connection contract 2-4 months before the start of heat supply to ensure that the district heating is available within the desired timeframe.

Changing the owner of your district heating connection?

When the ownership of the property changes, the new customer must provide us with written proof of the transfer of ownership and contractual rights to the property. This can be done, for example, with a copy of the deed of sale.

If necessary, the district heating connection can be transferred to a new customer without a deed of sale of the property. Please fill in the form below

Do you want to change the subscription power of your district heating connection?

Sometimes there is a need to change the on-demand power of a property, for example to make it more efficient. A separate written agreement (supplementary agreement) is always made to change the capacity.

When the subscription capacity is increased, the customer will have to pay an additional connection fee. The connection fee already paid will not be refunded when the subscription capacity is reduced.
