Please contact our technical service. Make sure you sign your connection contract on time! The delivery time varies from zone to zone, depending on the location and time of construction.

When you sign up, please make sure you have the following information ready:

  • Exact location of the interface
  • Header size
  • Electricity timetable
  • Heating method

If the new building is in a rural area, be prepared to show the location on a map.

Do you need a temporary electricity connection?

A temporary electricity connection is suitable for small, temporary electricity use that does not require a permanent electricity connection. Typical applications include construction sites, events, exhibitions and fairs.

The product requires a pre-defined period of use. After this period, the electricity supply is stopped.

Do you need a site centre for electricity?

Our network contractors rent site centres for electricity use during construction. You can request a quote for a site centre when you sign a connection contract. Our customer service forwards the request to the network contractor who will contact the builder.

If a permanent connection contract has been signed and paid for before the delivery of the site centre, the customer will receive electricity at the site at the price of the product of his choice.

Changing the owner of your electricity connection?

The electricity connection is not automatically transferred to the new owner of the property, for example in a property sale or inheritance. It is therefore always worth mentioning the transfer of the connection contract in the transfer document, for example in the deed of sale or the deed of inheritance.

The new owner of the property should contact our customer service as soon as possible after the change of ownership.

We will need a change of ownership document to agree on the transfer of the connection. We will treat the information confidentially and only for the time necessary to process the case. Sensitive information, such as the transaction amount, can be hidden.

If the transfer of the electricity connection has not been agreed in the above document, the connection must be transferred to the new owner by a separate agreement signed by all parties. As a rule, we use electronic signatures to conclude the contract. We do not charge a fee for the transfer of the contract.

When the other party is an estate, we also need a copy of the will, testament or deed of distribution.

No longer need electricity but want to keep your connection?

You should transfer your connection to a maintenance company if your property does not need electricity but you want to keep the capacity for future use. When your connection is in maintenance mode, you will only pay the maintenance fee according to the network service tariff. This is subject to the conclusion of a maintenance contract, disconnection of the electricity supply and removal of the meter, for which we charge a service fee.

When you want to reactivate your connection, we will charge you for the installation of the meter according to the network service tariff. In this case, your electrical contractor will need to carry out an inspection of your electrical installation and submit a general information form to our technical service before re-metering and reconnecting the connection.

If the new connection is not taken into use by the end of the calendar year following its completion, we will charge you a maintenance fee until it is taken into use.

Want to cancel your subscription?

If the property has run out of electricity and there is no need for electricity in the future, the owner can cancel the subscription. If the same property is to be re-energised at a later date, we will charge at least the subscription fee.

In the event of disconnection, we will refund any refundable part of the subscription contract, less the cost of disconnection.
