History
Creating something new is not new to us. When the Kajaani City Electricity Board was founded in 1911 and we started our work by installing 43 street lamps in Kajaani, few people could have imagined what would happen more than a hundred years later.
Today, we are expanding our electricity distribution with the help of hundreds of people. More and more people are getting their electricity from the towering wind farms of Kainuu. Not to mention the fact that our customers’ homes stay warm with the waste heat released from the computer room.
